Floer Homology Lab

Welcome to Floer Homology Lab!

Floer Homology Lab was established by Fan Ye in 2026 at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University. The lab’s main research directions include: 3-manifold Floer homology, symplectic Floer homology, and quantum link homology. Floer homology is a generalization of Morse homology to infinite-dimensional settings and serves as an important tool in low-dimensional topology and symplectic geometry, with wide applications in mathematical physics, contact topology, quantum topology, and related fields.

The lab currently contains 1 PhD student and 3 undergraduate students. In July 2026, there is 1 new PhD alumnus and 3 new bachelor alumni. For more detailed information, please visit the Members page. Introductions and introductory materials for each research direction can be found on the Research page, published results are available on the Publications page, and news, courses, and more are provided on the More page.

If you are interested in our research directions or have any questions, please visit the Join page to learn how to join the lab, or contact Fan Ye directly at [email protected].
